The Kingdom of God
the prophecies and the promises for us today
"you shall know the truth, and the
truth shall make you free"
Where is God?
Does God care
Why does God allow war and
all the other hardship that mankind inflicts upon itself? And why does God allow
as floods, earthquakes, disease and famine? Does God know what is
going on? Is God powerless? Will God ever intervene in human
Many people ask these questions. After all,
if God is all-powerful and loving, why wouldn't He step in and prevent the
suffering? Is He unable? Is He unwilling? Is He losing a battle against
The Kingdom of God website provides answers
to these questions. Here you can learn about Bible prophecies: those that have
been fulfilled, and others that pertain to our time and to the distant future.
You will see what prophecy, from God, foretells for the future of the
world. Here you will see that God is in control and has a plan for mankind. There
is a great purpose being worked out here below. God is not trying to "save the world"
now; rather, He allows our present condition for a reason,
and He will
intervene when the time is right!
throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the
kingdom of God" (Luke 8:1). He said "seek
ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness" (Matthew 6:33).
Unfortunately very few today understand Jesus' message about the Kingdom
of God. His powerful message was very different from the emotional appeals, confused ignorance and
empty rituals often associated with Christianity today.
You can be assured that God knows - and
feels - the suffering of humanity. And you can be assured that God will set
things right. Consider some of the most compelling verses of the Bible, about
times to come:
And in the days of these
kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be
destroyed... (Daniel 2:44)
beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation
shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any
more. (Micah 4:3)
And God shall
wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former
things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4)
Unfortunately there are dark times ahead. There
are things everyone should know in advance. But there is also some very good
news, about a future better than you could imagine or hope for. God has a plan
for us; there is meaning in life. This is the good news -
the gospel - of the Kingdom of God!
